Goddesses healing
QoS asked for stories about healing from goddesses. I'm not sure if this is exactly what she was getting at but it is as close as I can come within my own life.

My sister is an artist with a lot of artist friends. One of her friends created a piece called the "Goddess Wheel". It is a circle with all of the different goddesses from around the world on the outside of it. There are some beautiful decorations around and within the circle they made but the most important part of the entire piece, to me, is the quote in the middle. It says "Remember the beauty and sacredness of your womanbody. No matter how your personal body is shaped, Whether it is abundant or slight, somewhere in the world a goddess is venerated who looks just like you" Ariska Razak. That piece of art is one of my best mentors/healers in my path to self-acceptance.

It could easily be argued that the Goddesses are healing me, physically, emotionally, and spiritually through that message.

I love this goddess quote! I am stealing it, and you can't stop me. *grin*

I think it's a great reminder that sacred takes many forms and shapes, and doesn't depend on the whims of the north american culture...

I love this poster and am looking for a copy. Can you direct me to the artist? Thank you
